Here's an attempt:

This is the Mail Turtle from my Hermes story- think of him as a pack mule in the pony express as a comparison. He was a relatively quick paint (mostly to get into the grove of using the cintique again) and could used some further clean up and some redesign on his head.

I finally did a large amount of scans so I will attempt to be good and post them here.Talie P.http://www.blogger.com/profile/03702021175986649782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5388714914648434675.post-60227392797183199252011-08-07T14:18:00.000-05:002011-08-07T14:18:11.730-05:00Locks of LoveAnother update it is a miracle!
This is an image I did for my brother who is giving a talk about a co-worker's time at the company. One of the things important to her that she did was Locks of Love so my brother asked me to illustrate that.
And look what came about! My first completed vector!.... using Photoshop's pen tool and a track pad. Ouch.
For you- a trucker eating humble pie. I have a bigger scene in mind with it but we'll see if it gets done.
This is mostly for my own sake, but I'll try to be good and cross post finished work to my suspiciously empty DA.

This is my mock up for Victoria Rose. She just doodled herself into life. I'm got her pencil sketch done up already and I hope to get some Gouache on her soon. I'm going to try a more graphic style than the other gouache piece- want to see what all I can do with this new medium.

I already have another in this style started- Frank Stone. I think I might want to do a whole Rose and Stone family series. We'll see how Victoria goes though. Wish me luck.Talie P.http://www.blogger.com/profile/03702021175986649782noreply@blogger.com0
